Placon Supports Dane County United Way COVID-19 Fund with $10,000 Donation

Placon is donating $10,000 to the Dane County COVID-19 Emergency and Recovery Fund as it tries to lend a helping hand to those in need during this pandemic outbreak.
Since 1966, Placon has been a family owned company right here in Madison, WI. By collaborating with the United Way of Dane County, we want to show our support for the community and lend a helping hand. The COVID-19 Emergency and Recovery Fund was designed with the goal to ensure grants were awarded to meet the greatest needs in the community impacted by COVID-19, with priority areas being: Eviction Prevention, Homelessness Prevention and Meals.
A long-standing partner of the United Way of Dane County, it was inevitable that we extend a helping hand, by giving a monetary donation to support this program. “For over fifty years the Madison community has supported and embraced us as a family owned business. During these uncertain times, it is important that we work together and give back where we can to support the community that has supported us for so many years,” said Dan Mohs, Chairman and CEO.
